Who is the Power Your PR team?
We are a team of experienced public relations experts that want to help small businesses and individuals get access to affordable PR and get into the media even if they have little budget. We have seen the success that PR can give to small businesses and want to offer this service to more businesses so that they can scale through PR.
Is Power Your PR a subscription service?
We are not a subscription service. We are a pay as you go service that allows you to stay within your budget.
Which industries do you target?
We target all industries. When you place an order you will see a list of industries that you can select from.
Which countries do you target?
Australia and New Zealand.
Can I target states?
Yes you can select to just target states such as New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Which media outlets can I send my press release to?
TV, Radio, Print and Online media outlets. We have our little black book of journalists, producers and reporters at these outlets who are looking for fresh and engaging stories and content.
How do I write a Press Release?
We offer a free Press Release Writing video and template or you can use our PR Writing service.
Which languages do you offer?
We only offer English at this stage.
How long does the process take?
We offer a 24- 48 hour turnaround.
What information should I provide for Press Release Writing?
We will schedule a call with you. We also need your story in 600-800 words, your website, 3-5 topics that you can speak about and your contact details.
Will I get to review the Press Release before you publish it?
Yes, all press releases are approved before they go out. We will never send out a press release that you are not happy with.
What happens after I approve my Press Release?
We distribute it based on your specifications that you included when ordering and add it to our newsroom.
What happens if I make a mistake?
Please proof your press release before you distribute it. We cannot retract a press release once it has been sent. If we are writing the press release for you, we will proof, edit with you and make sure it is approved before it goes out to the media.
How many media contacts do you have?
We have a database of around 18 000 media contacts. We update this weekly.
